nobody knows what lies behind the day before the day we die

well, the GRE is now over. i did not do as well as i would have liked, but i'll take it. i still need to find 2 more recommendations for my applications.

i had a really great weekend and i am grateful for that. some old friends came to visit and then some other friends had a nice get together and it was a lot of fun.

i have another busy week...attempts to gather interviews for two separate research projects will hopefully prove fruitful.

i am happy for the busy-ness because it will make this last bit of time before thanksgiving break go quickly. i am ever so anxious to be back at home with my family.

the weather is making me quite content. i had too much coffee just a little bit ago, and i have a great song stuck in my head. hopefully, the rest of the day proves to be this delightful.

and! i am getting over this sickness...i just KNOW it.

i had the opportunity to sit at the head table of the YMCA's friday forum this past friday. it was great, the speaker was talking about climate change and the policies that are currently being discussed/debated in congress. we really do need to take action against climate change because the $$ spent now will most definitely save the future from having to deal with the problems we've created.

i also attended the climate change rally on the quad saturday afternoon. one of my former atmospheric sciences professors spoke about climate change. he made a great point that i may have overlooked before. we must not look at daily temperatures, but at the overall temperatures of the earth. we must take note of the rise in temperatures that have happened so quickly. these temperatures should not be rising so quickly--that is what is alarming.

also, i just wrote an article about the environmental benefits of veganism on our website for the green observer::::read it!

sweeter dreams.
