i'm really angry that i missed the lecture given by naomi klein on campus this past wednesday. i wasn't aware of it and now i'm disappointed beyond belief. i wish these sorts of events were better advertised among campus.
i've been spending a lot of time reading this week--i feel like there's always one more chapter. my classes are starting to get on my nerves and i don't think the end of the semester can come soon enough. i hate to think i have senioritis this early...but perhaps my classes just aren't as interesting as i hope. i've also spent time drinking excessive amounts of wine and i'm hoping that practice will diminish after the jug of carlo rossi is finished. let's keep our fingers crossed.
i dyed the ends of my hair black for my halloween costume. i'm going to be debbie harry from blondie (which isn't a far cry from my everday so i've been told). the result has gotten mixed reviews...but mostly positive. it's only temporary though...rest assured mom and dad. :) but anyway. my celebration consists of only tonight because i have to work 1:30-10 both tomorrow and sunday. a real downer for sure.
