we go blind when we've needed to see

every year, i tell myself that i’m going to appreciate summer—i’m going to play outside, enjoy the sun warming my face, have picnics, go camping. but then summer comes and i forget i’m supposed to appreciate it. well, this year, i will not! this year i will embrace the wonderful weather and feelings summer brings.
