you're a rich girl and you've gone too far 'cause you know it don't matter anyway

i attended my first bonfire of the season last night. i was absolutely smitten with the smells that lingered in my hair afterward. it brought back memories of bonfires past and gave me a general feeling of excitement for the summer. what's more, my parents are grilling out today and the smell of smokiness is absolutely divine. i am having a pleasant spring break at home. it is extremely low key and i have been slowly doing research for final papers. it's so wonderful to be home with both of my brothers. it has been ages since it's been the entire family all together. i have missed it signficantly.

these feelings of goodness are slightly hindered by my uneasiness about the end of the semester, the coming summer and then fall. i have a lot to accomplish before the end of april and i am going to be so busy that it's difficult to enjoy these moments of peace. i am trying my hardest though.

i hope it is warm and sunny where you are and that you are grateful for the changing of the season too [if the seasons change where you are, of course!].

sweeter dreams.

It's cold but sunny here in Maine today with early spring rains having taken most of the snow away. We had ice out on the lake across the street last weekend. Life is good! Love your blog!
