according to the fine medical staff at mckinley i have a sinus infection and perhaps mono, but i've been given medicine on behalf of the former. if the symptoms do not fade away at the cessation of my prescription then i'm supposed to report back to mc-killme. i joke, i joke. i'm actually feeling very greatful for the services at the health center. [thanks mckinley] for the diagnosis and for the 4 different types of medicine i am now taking.
i wish i wasn't ill just when it is time for brendan's big birthday celebration. this illness really puts a damper on my ability to stay awake past 9 PM, but i'm doing better tonight so perhaps that will carry into the weekend. happy birthday BRENDAN!!!!
i am still stressed out by school..classes, etc. but i'm not allowing it to get the best of me. or perhaps, i haven't allowed time for it to get the better of me b/c of all this sleeping i've been having to do.
i'm grateful for my health today...even if it isn't fully restored i'm just glad to be able to get out of bed and make the trek to campus for class.
i miss home. but the days are passing quickly enough already.
